~ Digitally Yours ~

I don’t view tracing as ok at all, but if you’re going to do it no matter what, I hope that you’d at least give credit to the creators. Imagine how hard they worked to get as good as they are! They put in all of the effort that tracers are skipping, so they at least deserve the credit.

My personal opinion is if you do trace to get a feel for the work, don’t put that up, wait until you’ve finished your attempted replication. I personally won’t allow myself to trace anything because I feel I won’t grow to understand how to do it unless I make the effort to learn it myself.

what shockes at most are people like you who take this too serious.Because it isn’t horrid to trace over pics by famous artists like naoko takeuchi in controast to someone on devianart.
The difference is important to recognize.
whateva, you think they fucked it up?Not your busyness but t of the real creators.Feel free to message them about it!For now non of them come to youtube to complain about it.

I’m not taking it too seriously, I don’t stay up at night wondering what motivates people to steal, I don’t talk about it offline to all of my friends, I don’t even think much of it after I’ve stated my point.

What makes it so different really? They’re people just like the deviantartists or the youtubers, it’s the SAME THING. There is absolutely no difference besides the fact they may never see it. If someone traced over my work, I have it copyrighted so a court case COULD ensue, but with the people too young for copyright, I guess that’s the only other difference, is that people like Naoko can sue you. So what, what difference  is important to recognize? They worked hard for more years than we have, so it’s ok to steal from them? That doesn’t sound right at all.

I’m not even saying they “fucked it up,” I’m saying that they should give credit to the people they’re tracing the work from. Someone tracing over  a character should give the real artist at least a little recognition. If they don’t know who’s the owner, then just say “I traced over scenes from….”

Why is it so hard for people to say that? Because they want to get the credit for “their” work. People need some common sense, and a lot of people don’t even realize what they’re doing. If someone gives credit, I compliment their story and character designs NOT their art. I overlook it. If they DON’T give credit that’s when I say how it’s just practice and they should give credit, and I do it NICELY. There are more people who comment on traceovers, but they don’t take the time or make the effort to be nice about it.

The only other comments I’ve made about traceovers are on a person’s name, and if you’re responding to that, then that’s just because they were going on about how true artists don’t deserve their views.

of course there is a difference between naoko and deviantart people.Naoko fullfilled her dream and made heaps of profit. She wouldn’t really loose anything like the deviantart people would do.
Naoko is known and will always have a bunch of fans like you but the devianart people haven’t.
Plus Naoko can’t sue this people who post this animation on youtube.Only youtube is responsible for the videos. However,I don’t think Naoko can’t sue these people because they said it plenty of times and it’s written on their site in french.Proof is there no matter how much hidden it is.

I’m NOT TALKING  about those who do GIVE credit, I’m TALKING about those who DON’T.

oh and you said you don’t ake this serious?
On lakimurs page you said you want to go to look for all tracers.
What does this mean excepting someone has too much free time on his hands.
Oh I forgot to say:You agreed with tracing when they give at least give credit. But melian05 said it on her page but Lakimur didn’t give a shit to it.Really false person I think.
So alot of people wil probably become her next target ALSO people who gave credits.
At the moment I only can remember diamant88’s work which really has copying elements but gave credits. So it’s only a matter of time that she find that out.
Probably next target.

I was doing that sarcastically, because people were whining about it not being fair. I don’t have too much free time, I don’t have enough. I have a demanding college, a fiance, appointments to keep, etc. I’m busy being an adult. I just put my opinion out there, and it turned into a debate somehow.

I saw melian05 gave credit, and I explained to her most people only ever see the video, so she would get less comments from people who believe tracing is wrong if she put that little disclaimer in her video description, not her youtube one.

And for the FOURTH TIME…

I was upset at her comment about those that do not trace. NOT at her traced work.

I did not know Lakimur said they didn’t give a shit, that’s all news to me.

Most of the debate is coming from people’s miscommunication or not gathering the facts before they speak.

NOTE: This isn’t a desperate plea for attention or comments or whatever, I just have a question at the end of a minor rant.

Stupid youtube and it’s errors of not letting comments or bulletins go through. RAWR! Let me try retyping this .I don’t want to be known as the best, I don’t care if I’m known worldwide, whatever. Fame isn’t what I’m after.

What irritates me is I put my heart and soul into my animations and tutorials, and while I get a few comments and subscriptions, I don’t get much more. I don’t care if every other animator subscribes to me, and if I’m not listed as one of the favorite youtube anime to watch. But something that I DO want is to see at least at least a little recognition.

An honor would be nice, but I know I’ll never get one of those.

And it makes my day to see someone takes the time to actually listen to my voice auditioning and give me a little feedback on it (or more). And to the few of you who DO list me, I am grateful for you, and you’ll be getting a little upload soon.

My real irritation to all of this is I know WHY it’s this way. It’s because I went against the oh-so-common magical girl thing. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great, and a lot of you are very creative and talented, it’s just… the only reason I didn’t make one is because everyone else did. But it seems I won’t be recognized as an animator unless I do one, neh?

So how many of you would like to see me succumb to this and animate a magical girl anime? Anyone?

And just a note, I’m better now that I’ve ranted. It’s just annoying, and makes me feel like I’m wasting my time working so hard on each frame. Know what I mean?
